Day 1
Arrival Yangon
Upon arrival our guide will accompany you to your hotel.

Day 2
Yangon
After breakfast leave for a trip around Yanong. Although the city is no longer the official capital of the country it is still one of the most dynamic and busiest cities in the country. There are many cultural and historical highlights to be found in between the hustle and bustle of city life here. Visit Botataung Pagoda; the colossal reclining Buddha Chaukhtatkyi, and Kandawgyi Lake. Walk through old streets lined with colonial buildings and do some shopping at Scott Market. In the evening climb the beautifully lit Shwedagon Pagoda for an awe-inspiring look at the most important Buddhist site in the country.

Day 3
Yangon - Fly to Bagan
After breakfast a private car is waiting for a ride to the airport. Hop on a short flight to Bagan where the afternoon will be spend watching some of the many highlights of this famous archeological site. Amongst them the 12th century Thatbyinnyu Temple which towers over the rest of the city and Shwesandaw Pagoda, from where a clear view of the sunset can be seen.

Day 4
Explore Bagan
In the early morning drive to the Ayeyar jetty to get on the boat to Tantkyi Taung Pagoda situated on a hill on the western side of Ayeyarwaddy River. In the afternoon visit Manuha Temple. Behind this temple is Bagan's first "gu-style" cave shrine. Continue to Myinkaba village to see their ancient temple adorned with well-preserved paintings and also have a look at a local craft shop, where lacquer ware is expertly made by hand. Before heading back for dinner our guide will show some of the best spots to take in the beautiful panoramic view over the ancient city.

Day 5
Bagan - Mandalay [River Cruise]
Depart in the morning to the boat pier and board the river cruise ship that will set sail for Mandalay. Enjoy the gentle breeze on the sundeck and beautiful vistas along the river. The ship will land in the late afternoon. Spend the Evening at leisure in the hotel in Mandalay.

Day 6
Mandalay – Amarapura, Inwa, Sagain Day Trip
Mandalay, Myanmar’s last Royal Capital is surrounded by former capital cities. Three of them will be visited today. Amarapura, where Mahagandayon monastery, a school for young monks, and the U Bein bridge, the longest teakwood bridge in the world, are situated. Sagaing, a former Shan capital in the 14th century with many impressive stupas scattered on its’ hill, lies across the river from Mandalay. Inwa, capital for over 400 years, with highlights such as the ' leaning tower of Ava', the brick and stucco monastery, Maha Aungmye Bonzan and the elegant teakwood monastery Bagaya Kyaung. In the evening return to Mandalay.

Day 7
Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin Day Trip
Today leave Mandalay timely to drive to Pyin Oo Lwin, a former British Colonial Hill Station. Originally named Maymyo, the town is popular for its’ beautiful botanical gardens, built by Turkish prisoners of war during the First World War. Other highlights to take in are Purcell tower; the morning vegetable market and Naung Kan Gyi Paya from where the entire town can be seen. After a day in this picturesque town drive back to Mandalay.

Day 8
Mandalay – Inle Lake (Heho)
Depart in the morning for Mandalay airport and fly to Heho. Drive to Inle Lake. Take a boat ride across the lake and admire the “one legged” rowing style employed in this region. The boat ride passes many “floating gardens”, an agricultural technique employed by the local people. Travel to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure.

Day 9
Inle Lake - Indein sightseeing
After breakfast take a boat ride to Indein, one of the villages dotting the Coast of Inle Lake. The village is famous for its’ overgrown, mysterious looking, 16th century Stupa formations. Continue to have a look at all the local crafts going on this area. Watch how the boats of this region are made, visit a Burmese cigar factory and witness how Buddha images are made from dried flower powder in nearby Leshea Village. In the evening return to the hotel at Inle.

Day 10
Inle Lake – Ngapali (Thandwe)
In the morning fly direcly from Heho to Thandwe Airport. A short drive to Ngapali Beach where the afternoon can be spent at leisure.

Enjoy 3 days of leisure time on this beautiful beach

Day 12
Thandwe - Yangon Departure
After breakfast take the morning flight to Yangon. Either spend an afternoon strolling through town and shopping or connect directly to the departure flight.
