Day 1

Fly to Hanoi

Welcome to your holiday with Your Vietnam Travel!

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, either Domestic or International arrival, after clearing all customs procedures, please proceed to exit gate and look for your guide who will be waiting at the lobby, holding the Your Vietnam Travel's signboard with your name on it. 

Transfer to hotel for check in (Check in time is 14:00 and early check in is not included). Spend rest of the day for relaxation.

Day 2

Hanoi City Tour

After breakfast, our guide pick up at hotel at 8.00AM. Sightseeing today includes explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, start a Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the Presidential Palace, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda; and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). End the day’s explorations; watch a traditional puppet show on water that shows off an ancient art form

Note: On Monday and Friday morning, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ethnic museums are closed

Day 3

Hanoi - Ninh Binh Excursion - Mua Cave - Hanoi

Have breakfast at the hotel.

Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is far from Hanoi city about 120 km.

9.30: Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax

10.30: The first destination in this trip is visit Hoa Lu ancient capital. This is the first capital of Vietnam. Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You are impressed on an outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu ancient capital.

11.45: Have buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice… 

13.00: Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as The world Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has the wonderful tunnel cave system so that Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island “. Boat trip to visit Trang An to see the amazing beauty of this landscape with many caves such as: Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dack cave), Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine), green river and natural view.

15h30: Get on the bus to go to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain, have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.

16h30 return Hanoi for overnight

Day 4

Hanoi - Sapa - Fansipan Mountain - Sapa

After enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and check out, 7.20 our guide will pick you up to Sapa at least 5 hours passing through the countryside, villages, and towns in far Northern Vietnam. 

Upon arrival, check in hotel and have a lunch at local restaurant before start the trip to Fansipan Mountain. It takes 20mins by car to transfer to the Cable car station by funicular through Muong Hoa Valley. Take a cable car to Fansipan peak. Fansipan peak is 3.143m high, the highest mountain of the Indochinese peninsula (including Laos & Cambodia). It takes 15 mins by carble car and climbing about 600steps to reach the peak (You can choose to take the funicular to the peak at 4USD/pax, or climbing stairs)

From Fansipan peak, enjoy the view of: Hoang Lien Son majestic wild forest, and mountain ranges, and Muong Hoa Valley.

If you choose to walk down, you can stop to visit Bao An Thien Tu, Bich Van Thien Tu, the huge copper Buddha Statue & Guanyin Statue. (If you take the Funicular down, you need to climb up few stairs).

After the trip, drop you off at your hotel and free at leisure in your own way.

Day 5

Sapa - Trekking Lao Chai - Ta Van

After breakfast, 8.30 we start first 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of Black H'mong people. Continue a 2km trekking down to Lao Chai village. Here we will discover their daily life and how they make traditional clothes, handicraft, indigo... We will visit the biggest valley which provides the best view for golden rice terrace fields in Vietnam. After Lao Chai we walk to Ta Van village of Giay people. It is a small group of ethnic people in Vietnam with a rich culture and beautiful houses located on rice paddy fields. 

Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages, about 8 km from Sapa town, where black H’mong and Giay people are living, it is also the beginning of the valley which is called Muong Hoa. From a high point of the main road, great view of the whole villages open wide to offer the marvelous panorama views, backed by high mountains and facing the river. Here you will enjoy the fresh air, see terrace fields, stream, discover and visit some Black H’mong families. You will have a welcome feeling at any house of the hospitable people there. You can interact them, learn about their culture and customs…

Have lunch at a local houses before coming back to Sapa by car

Day 6

Sapa - Ha Giang - Hoang Su Phi - Check in the Lodge

At 7:30am: Our guide will pick you up and heading to Hoang Su Phi at least 5 hours. On the way to Hoang Su Phi, you have lunch at local restaurant. 

After that, you will come to Hoang Su Phi Ha Giang. During the route, you will come through the Xin Man, conquer Thac Tien – Deo Gio. You will come to witness the beauty of Hoang Su Phi rice terrace and spend time wandering around the town to explore the beauty of a mountainous area. This must be a wonderful experience that you can not forget.

Day 7

Ha Giang – Dong Van Plateau: Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van

Breakfast and then take a wonderful trip uphill. As we climb up the hillsides, you’ll adore the amazing landscape below. Stop at the Gateway to Heaven at Quan Ba to take in the magnificent views.

As soon as we pass Yen Minh Town, you’ll be dazzled by the sheer rock plateau with amazing valleys and dense gathering of rocky peaks. You’ll come from one surprise to another with schools built on rock, family houses surrounded by rocks and local ethnic people tilling corn farms on the rock!

Before reaching Dong Van, we’ll visit the former residence of the Vuong Family, once the King of the Hmong in Dong Van. The residence has a wonderful architecture.

Day 8

Dong Van Market – Me Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac

Enjoy breakfast and a visit to the amazing weekend market of Dong Van. You’ll be in a different world! Then we travel back to the hotel for checking out. The rest of the morning for more of the amazing world of the Rock Plateau of Dong Van. We’ll adore the sublime Ma Pi Leng Pass with the Nho Que River far underneath.

Proceed to visit Meo Vac Market before continuing on the snaking road through the mountains, crossing the river. You will enjoy local food and spend the night in Meo Vac.

Day 9

Meo Vac - Pac Po - Cao Bang

After breakfast, continue the trip to Cao Bang. Visit Pac Bo Historic Site, this was the residence and activity of President Ho Chi Minh during the years of resistance from 1941 to 1945.

Evening: transfering to Cao Bang and rest and have dinner at Cao Bang.

Day 10

Cao Bang - Transfer to Ban Gioc Waterfall - Hanoi

It takes around 2 hours from Cao Bang to Ban Gioc Waterfall - the border of Vietnam and China. From here you will have plenty of time to relax, enjoy the breathtaking sights and take photos. 

Visit Nguom Ngao Cave and explore part of the magical underground cavern. After visiting the waterfall and cave, you will travel down a beautiful road which is unknown to many. The road winds through the mountains before reaching the Nung village of Quang Uyen. After the trip, we will get on the car back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 11

Free & Easy Hanoi

Today, you are free exploring the city's charming Old Quarter:

- Visit Hoan Kiem Lake: This beautiful lake is located in the heart of the city and is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. You can take a stroll around the lake, visit the Ngoc Son Temple, or simply sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

- Explore the Old Quarter: The Old Quarter is a maze of narrow streets and alleyways, filled with shops, cafes, and historical sites. You can take a walking tour to explore the area and learn about its history, or simply wander around and discover the many hidden gems.

- Try the local street food: Hanoi is famous for its delicious street food, and the Old Quarter is the perfect place to try some. From pho (beef or chicken noodle) to banh mi (bread) to Bun Cha (spring rolls)

- Try the famous egg coffee: This unique coffee drink is made with egg yolks, sugar, condensed milk, and coffee. It's a popular local specialty and there are many cafes in the Old Quarter that serve it.

Day 12

Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight on Cruise

Our guide and shuttle bus will pick you up at lobby of hotel at 8.00 - 8.20AM and start journey east to Halong Bay, through picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta, where we see every day Vietnamese village life. On arrival, we board a beautiful traditional junk and spend a full day and night cruising the bay’s 3000 magnificent limestone islets. In the evening when the boat is anchored in the middle of the stunning lagoon, we enjoy a wonderful seafood meal and later there is opportunity for an evening swim from the side of the boat. Spend the night on our luxurious boat

Day 13

Halong Bay - Hanoi

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong. Have brunch on board the boat before returning to Halong pier to get back Hanoi

Day 14

Hanoi Departure

Free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight back home. End of service!
