You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi at 8.00 AM by your private tour guide and driver. After getting out of bustle and hustle Hanoi, you will enjoy the countryside view through the windows while driving northwestward to Yen Bai province. We will stop on our way to Duong Lam village, an authentic ancient village known as the birthplace of two great Vietnam kings and many other national heroes. You will see the ancient gate and visit charming houses. Then, we will resume our drive along road No 32, while passing by numerous tea plantations. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Then, we will continue to visit a H’Mong village and go to explore the ancient tea plantations of Suoi Giang where you will be able to see the tea-making process. We will finally reach Nghia Lo in late afternoon. The end of the day will be spent on foot, for a walk to Nghia An, a village inhabited by the Black Thai ethnic group. You will have the chance to observe traditional stilt houses and you will catch a glimpse of the lifestyle this people. Check in basic hotel and Overnight in Nghia Lo.

After breakfast, we transfer from Nghia Lo to Tu Le. The road ride today takes only 2 hours so we have a lot of time exploring the area for real mountainous life of the local ethnic minority people, upon arrival Mu Cang Chai, get a lunch and we will get a transfer to a trekking point for the whole afternoon trek to enjoy Vietnam’s national rice terrace heritage. Our trek will start from Che Cu Nha commune – terraced paddy fields, with H’Mong people cultivating among vast golden crops to – De Xu Phinh & La Pan Tan terraced paddy fields. It is around 13 km and takes most of our day. This trek will definitely offer us a good opportunity to see the main spots and admire the beauty of amazing rice terraces that Mu Cang Chai has to offer. We will also be able to visit a few villages of the H’mong hill tribe scattered in the area. Get picked up by our private vehicle and get back to check in Homestay Mu Cang Chai and get a dinner with Thai’s family.
