Bus from Hanoi to Sapa via New Highway

Sapa is one of the most popular destination in the northwest of Vietnam both Vietnam and western travellers. This is not only famous with the fresh air, beautiful scenery, rice terraced fields, but also famous for its love markets where getting alive with many young people who want to wallow in looking a serious relationship. 

How to get there 

There are many ways to get sapa and extremely that the most popular way is taking a overnight train which it takes 8-9hours and just stop at Lao Cai station. Onward travel to Sa Pa is by road. You will be advised to purchase a A/C soft sleeper (4 berth) with price from USD 30 to USD 40 such as: Sapaly express, fansipan Express, Livitran express…etc or higher quality is Victoria Express 

On the other way, due to A new highway from Noi Bai – Sapa (264km – it takes about 5 hours) which connecting the provinces of Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hanoi. This is considered a perfect expectation for travellers to shorten travel time between Hanoi and Sapa - cheap, highly accessible as well as comfortable mode of transportation. In addition, traveling via bus gives one the advantage of enjoying the beautiful scenic beauty on the way. 

Here is some information for you if you are interested in booking a bus to sapa:

From Hanoi: the morning bus (Limousine) will be departing at 7.30am from the main bus’ office or a tour guide will pick you up at hotel at 7.00am and arrive Sapa 12.30pm. The afternoon bus will be departing at 15.00 

From Sapa: estimated time to depart at 15.00 and arriving Hanoi 20.30 

Price: 20usd/ way/ per person (D-car Limousine)
